Find the dwarven city under Fenrock, then open its mines one wing at a time - gear wheels for the elevator, justice for Nokmir, a chocolate cake, a cask of ale and the rescue of the emperor's son - before the fight with Pythius the Rotten for the firewalker boots that the quest points reward.

Beregar is the dwarven city hidden under Fenrock, south-west of Yalahar. Its five small missions open the mines one wing at a time; the quest points come from the last of them, the fight against Pythius the Rotten for the firewalker boots.
Maris at the Yalahar docks (32648, 31292, 6) sails to mistrock (50 gold) and fenrock (100 gold). Ask her about mistrock once – that is what lets you through – then go to Fenrock and down to the tortoise cave; the passage into the mines begins at 32566, 31338, 10. Follow it down past skeletons and rotworms to the city. Use the ore wagon at 32607, 31501, 13 once to activate the wagon line for later trips.
Xorlosh at the elevator (32613, 31500, 14): mission → yes, then bring 3 gear wheels – the Sweaty Cyclops in Ab'Dendriel forges one per iron ore while this mission is open, and a barrel at 32552, 31311, 8 holds twenty. The elevator to the eastern mine opens.
Nokmir at the northern mine (32607, 31490, 14): mission, ring, grombur, rerun, rehal. Emperor Rehal upstairs (32584, 31402, 8, greet with hail emperor): nokmir, grombur. Grombur at the southern mine (32609, 31515, 14): nokmir, rerun. In the eastern mine use the large crystal at 32613, 31386, 14 for Rerun's ring (the gold ingot skeleton is at 32601, 31386, 14). Rehal: nokmir; Nokmir: mission – the northern mine and Harog's rust remover open.
Frafnar at the western mine (32585, 31500, 14): mission → yes. Bring a chocolate cake to Bolfona in the tavern at 32533, 31437, 10: chocolate cake → yes → frafnar. Frafnar: mission – the western mine opens (crystal of focus).
Grombur: mission → yes, then a cask of brown ale from Boozer in Venore (32921, 32068, 5, 3,000 gold, 300 oz). Grombur: mission – the southern mine opens (rusted armor).
Rehal: mission → yes. Xorlosh, tunnel, points at the tunnelling book in the library. Take the deeper mines wagon in the main hall and repair the line as you go:
- the gap at 32571, 31508, 9: hammer with 3 wood, 2 metal fittings (Harog), wooden ties and 6 nails;
- the collapsed arch at 32619, 31514, 9: bricklayer's kit on the frame, pick on the rubble;
- the crane room at 32699, 31494, 11: shovel coal into the wagon, back to the crucible, fire bug, work the bellow, then the second lever for the wagon-maze wagon;
- the wagon maze at 32688, 31472, 13: set the levers so the wagon takes the centre-north tunnel.
Tehlim at 32727, 31419, 14: mission → yes. The prison cell key is in the chest at 32754, 31462, 15 in the troll hideout; free Rehon at 32760, 31376, 15 (mission). Rehal: mission – dwarven legs.
Pythius, the undead dragon, sits at 32589, 31407, 15 below the city. offer → yes → golden mug buys three minutes in his dungeon to the north; the teleport at 32598, 31402, 15 leads on to the boss room. Kill Pythius the Rotten and open the chest at 32582, 31405, 15 for the firewalker boots – this chest is what the quest points check.
