Daily Tasks

Huxera has five separate task systems running at once — four task NPCs in Thais Depot Basement, each on its own daily cycle, plus an always-available task board you open from anywhere. Together they're the most reliable daily income on the server.

Type !daily in-game at any time to see which tasks are ready and how long the rest have left on cooldown. It covers all four NPCs plus your free boost and goblin boost.

[Task] Shaman60Collect itemsUntil the daily server save4 hours
[Task] Champion60Challenges and activitiesUntil the daily server save6 hours

All four NPCs pay into one shared pool of task credits, which you spend at the Task Slayer. The Slayer, Shaman and Champion also let you pick a length — short, normal or long — with longer tasks paying more.

Task Slayer

The straightforward one: go kill things. Choose a difficulty (easy, medium or hard) and a length, and the Slayer offers you three monsters to choose from.

  • Don't like the options? Say reroll for three new monsters, or change to pick another difficulty. Your first reroll each day is free; after that it costs 3 task credits.
  • Kill counts: short 60–90, normal 120–170, long 200–260.
  • Rewards: gold or experience, plus task credits. Credits scale with both difficulty and length: from 2 for an easy short task up to 12 for a hard long one.
  • Party sharing: up to four party members on screen who hunt the same monster all get the kill, as long as each dealt at least 5% of its health in the last 30 seconds.

Huxera Tokens and the Task Streak

Every task you hand in to the Slayer, Shaman or Champion also pays huxera tokens: 1 for a short task, 2 for a normal one, 3 for a long one. A full 66-frag Death task pays 5. All characters on one account share a limit of 8 tokens per day, which resets at the daily server save.

Tasks also build a task streak on each character. Hand in at least one task every day (the day changes at the server save) and the streak grows by one, up to 7. Every streak day pays 4 task credits, up to 28 a week. Miss a day and the streak starts over.

Ask the Task Slayer about your streak to cash it out for a boss orb. Cashing out starts the streak over, so you can cash out early for a weaker boss or keep going for a stronger one.

4Rare boss orb (rebirth 3)
5Epic boss orb (rebirth 5)

Below the rebirth a tier needs, the cash-out pays the best orb your rebirth allows. The 75 magical dust on day 7 comes at any rebirth.

Task Titles

Every task you hand in to the Slayer, Shaman, Champion or Death counts towards titles you can wear above your name. Ask the Task Slayer about titles to see your count and wear any title you have earned.

Task Shaman

Collection tasks — gather a set quantity of a particular item and bring it back.

  • Amounts follow the drop rate: each item asks for about as many as you'd loot in 75 (short), 150 (normal) or 250 (long) kills of the best creature that drops it. Common products ask for dozens, rare ones only a handful.
  • Rewards: task credits plus an experience or skill booster. Longer tasks give longer, stronger boosters.
  • The booster is the real draw here — stacking a Shaman booster with a daily event or a world event bonus is how big experience days happen.
Task Champion

The odd one out, and the most interesting. Instead of killing or collecting, the Champion sets you activities from across the whole server. Pick a length and the Champion offers you three challenges to choose from. As with the Slayer, your first reroll or change each day is free, and after that each costs 3 task credits. Casino challenges count your wins, so a loss never resets your progress.

Rewards: task credits, coins, and a chance at boss orbs — which is what makes the Champion worth doing every single day. See Boss Orbs for what those are worth.

Task Death

The PvP task. Kill players for rewards, up to 66 frags per task, within a window of 6 days, 6 hours and 6 minutes. Justified and unjustified kills both count. Hand in whenever the window closes, or as soon as you have all 66.

Crystal coins10 crystal coins

Deliver all 66 frags and you also receive a black skull, the frag remover: use it in a protection zone to clear a red or black skull (once every 48 hours).

Frags only count if the kill was genuine. A kill counts when:
  • the victim is at least level 75 and at least half your level;
  • the victim is not on your connection, in your party or guild, or in a guild war with you;
  • you landed the last hit, or dealt at least 15% of their health in the last minute. Up to five players can share one kill, even when a monster lands the last hit;
  • you haven't already collected the same victim in the last 2 hours.
Deaths in arenas and server events don't count. When a kill doesn't count, the Death NPC tells you why in your server log.
The Task Board

Separate from the NPCs, the task board is always available. Type !tasks while standing in a protection zone to open it.

  • Hold up to three tasks at once, chosen from the creatures you want to hunt anyway.
  • Pick your own kill count, anywhere from 100 to 800 kills. Bigger commitments pay better.
  • Rewards include rank points, experience, gold and items.
  • Bonuses scale as you go — every 250 kills on a creature increases the points, experience and gold it pays.

Rank points accumulate across everything you complete and earn you hunter ranks:

Making the Most of Them
  • Do them on Tuesday. Tasker Tuesday cuts every task NPC's repeat timer to 10 hours (or the server save, if that comes first), so you can run two in one day.
  • Take your task before you hunt, not after. Kills only count once the task is active.
  • Line up your Shaman booster with a long hunt or an experience world event rather than burning it immediately.
  • Stack the task board with the NPCs — task board kills happen while you're completing a Slayer task anyway, so both progress at once.
  • Check !daily when you log in so nothing sits idle on a finished cooldown.
