Twelve Tomes of Knowledge hidden across Zao, from the orc fortress to Zzaion's tower, handed to Cael in Farmine one by one. Each tome opens another trade in town; the quest points come with the last.
Cael, the scholar next to Ongulf in Farmine, collects the twelve Tomes of Knowledge scattered over Zao. Each one you hand him (from mission 8 of The New Frontier on) unlocks another trade in town; the quest points come with the twelfth.

Say tome to Cael and yes; he takes one at a time and tells you its subject – lizard, minotaur, draken, food, zzaion, human, steppe, corruption, origin, founder, dragons, thrones – which you can ask him about afterwards. The tomes unlock Pompan's tapestries, minotaur and dragon backpacks, Esrik's lizard weapon rack, Swolt's rice balls and Cael's war drums along the way.
